Andhra Pradesh (A.P.) is a state situated in the southeastern coast of India. The 5th largest state of India has the second-longest coastline of 972 km (604 mi) among all the States in India. Serene and calm beaches, historical monuments standing as a representative to 1000 years of history, and large numbers of religious monuments make Andhra Pradesh a preferred tourist destination. The state comprises three regions – Coastal Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema, which are very different in dialect, cuisine, lifestyle and climate.
