About Patna

Patna, once was called Patliputra, is the capital of Bihar that lies on the bank of River Ganga. Patna is one of world’s oldest capital cities, which has been the seat of power for successive kingdoms in ancient times. Patna or Pataliputra was also a center of education and fine arts. The ruins of the ancient Patliputra have been excavated at Kumrahar.
