Thousand Pillars Temple - Warangal

Thousand pillars temple, another attraction for tourists in Warangal, is from the Kakatiya period that was built by Rudra Dev in 1163 AD. The star-shaped temple is dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu and Surya. Thousand pillars temple is situated on the slope of Hanamkonda hill with richly carved pillars with nice rock cut elephants and the Nandi.
